The morning sun was shining through the leaves of the trees. I had gone out with my mobile phone to take a closer look at nature. Suddenly, I stopped and saw a spider. No, it was not an ordinary spider. Around it was a web, perfect, innocent, like an unwritten poem woven with fine threads. The sunlight was creating such a glow in the gaps of the web that I could not understand whether it was a trap for a living creature or a unique piece of art.
I silently raised the camera. Holding my breath, I zoomed in right in the middle. The spider still did not move at all. It seemed like it was enjoying the moment like me. I took a picture. But in fact, the moment I captured was one of patience, artistry, and silent adoration of nature.
- When nature is silent, its true story comes to mind. On that quiet afternoon, I was sitting in a shady corner with my camera in hand. Suddenly, I saw the curled body of a millipede, hundreds of legs moving together as if to the rhythm of an ancient musical instrument. It was moving slowly, without any hurry, without any fear. I stared. How strangely calm it was. Its color was red. I took a picture of it from the side.
- While the millipede was walking at its own pace, I caught sight of a mosquito. Although it can sometimes be annoying, today I saw it in a different light. It was sitting on the leaf of my hand, sucking blood. I didn't stop and kill it. Instead, I stared. I thought, it's also sucking to save its life. Its hunger, its need, is more real than my annoyance. It's sucking blood from my leg. This was the most important moment of its life. I could have killed it if I wanted to, but I took a picture of it.
The perfect arrangement of a spider's web, the slow but rhythmic movement of a millipede, and the hungry blood-sucking mosquito. Three different lives, three different characters, but life teaches the same lesson. Every creature, no matter how small, survives, lives, and fights according to its own rules.
The spider taught me the essence of patience and art, the millipede taught me the importance of silent progress, and the mosquito reminded me of necessity and the intensity of survival. Even though these three insects were captured in the frame of a day, they became a very big realization in my mind, and in the eyes of nature, no one is big, no one is small.
Finally I am Inviting my lovely Steemian friends @ulfatulrahmah,@karianaporras, @chant, @alejos7ven, @jyoti-thelight, @mikitaly, @adriancabrera, @anailuj1992 to Participate in this Contest.
