This is a border - Imprinted by LightCaptured
The title kinda gives it away, but could you otherwise guess this bridge is actually a border between two countries?
Now, let's see just for the sake of a challenge if anyone could guess where this is ;)
Also, let me use this post to wish you all a pleasant, sunny and wonderful weekend!

I couldn't imagine a border without security checkposts. Friendly neighbouring countries could open so many easy travel opportunities—like in the case of Switzerland and Liechtenstein?
Oh! Congrats, you've a trained eye ;)
I've been lucky enough to pass that same border several times - on foot and riding a bike. I love the tranquility of the place.
I even have one funny story - we went riding bikes to Liechtenstein because there was a new great pool there that was cheaper than Switzerland. And by the way, twice cheaper than a pool ticket in my country, Bulgaria, that's the poorest country in EU...
It is really awesome how the governments of the countries in Western Europe invest into the health of their citizens ;)
One great thing happened to Bulgaria this year - we were finally accepted into Schengen so we don't get stopped at the border when traveling to Romania, Greece, or any other European country that is in Schengen. We've been waiting for this for more than 10 years.
Next great thing to happen - we switch to EUR as our national currency. Hopefully in the beginning of 2026, fingers crossed ;)
Here is one other photo I took that show it is the border :)))
That's good news. Great things are happening to Bulgaria. These baby steps go a long way. I hope @soulsdetour is also feeling a little better about it.
The picture is spectacular as always. I don't have a trained eye. Had to Google it. 😆
Ah, right :))) It still counts :D Thank you!
I hope @soulsdetour returns to posting, I've been missing her posts lately...
