RE: What Have We Become?

are we simply inching toward our own destruction?

Unfortunately I believe we are racing towards self-destruction.

I feel partly guilty about all that happens. While "regular" people do nothing and mostly complain on social networks, psychopaths or let's say, people who are never satisfied nor happy, or just have psychological issues, run countries and armies to imaginary goals.

Why the constant urge to meddle in others’ affairs? Why not just look inward and heal what's broken at home first?

I can tell that governments (and presidents, where they are the main authority) are, in general, impotent to resolve the most important issues. Perhaps that's why they search for external enemy to divert the attention, until they find such one. Sad to draw that conclusion, but it seems like every means to stay in power...

Not "perhaps", most "definitely"!

The person behind this "false flag" operation has been in power for over a decade and will go to any lengths to stay there. It's a pity. He's used such tactics before — only a psychopath would resort to this.

This may sound political, though it's not my intent — it's simply the reality. When someone clings to power for over a decade and employs questionable tactics to maintain control, it raises serious concerns. History has seen such strategies before, often driven by desperation or obsession, not governance.

Sometimes I think the only brakes stopping democratically elected leaders becoming dictators are the finite number of mandates... 😎🤣

Obviously power corrupts everyone with time...
