One of my favorite lakes in Greece - Kerkini.

I've been there several times, trust me, there is always something new to see and observe ;)

It is not just a common, natural, "ordinary" lake but a national natural reserve.

Situated in a part of Greece that is not touristic and is less populated, this even more serves the good cause of preserving nature there.

With the many years passing, many migratory birds use this lake as their habitat for some of the months.

Some other birds live there all the year.

Some of the birds are quite shy but renting a boat always pays well as birds are not that afraid of the boats and we can get closer to them...
