From Sega To Atari: Back in Time With Retro Gaming Bar

Miro says he’s been a passionate gamer and retro game collector for over 20 years. It all started with his stubborn mission to track down a childhood favorite: Puggsy. After months of searching, he finally found the original game for the SEGA Mega Drive.

That one "catch" kicked off his love for collecting retro games.

Miro also says that sharing Sonic 2 with his son was a game-changer.

Watching his little boy's excitement after beating the first level brought back all those nostalgic childhood feels. That joy gave him the idea to open a retro gaming bar – a place where gamers, collectors, and even parents showing their kids the classics could come together and share the magic of retro gaming.

I’m sharing all this to introduce you to Miro’s retro gaming bar.

What impressed me the most is how the team he worked with truly captured his passion. Every detail is perfect – from the colors and the posters on the walls to the Pac-Man vibes, the décor, and the way part of his collection is displayed.

The bar is super cozy – not too big, not too small.

The gaming tables are set up in a spacious main hall, and for those who want a bit more privacy, there are a few small rooms in different colors.

The game selection is massive, so there’s no way you won’t find something you love.

We went for classics like Golden Axe and Contra. Gamers over 35 will definitely know these iconic titles!

As we sipped tea and beer, the hour we paid for flew by in no time.

The price for an hour of gaming is 12 BGN (6 euros). Besides video games, you can also play pool or darts.

A big bonus for me is that this place brings retro game lovers together, without anyone worrying if they’re “nerdy” or over 35. The music, as you might guess, is also retro. During my visit, hits from the 90s were playing.
