A small wooden cross | Close-ups session.
Someone gave me a wooden cross to wear on my wrist. Something I couldn't understand because I don't practice that religion. However, I received it gratefully and I thought it was beautiful in its rustic workmanship.
A nice colored wood, which was perhaps made with a jigsaw and then sanded. I decided to capture it in several shots.
The 5 selected close-ups
Photo N° 1
Placed on a wooden chest, with the help of a ring light to illuminate. The brown and earth tones harmonize with the whites and blues that emerge from the reflection of a colored glass. |
Photo N° 2
A horizontal shot. To show the connection with the bracelet, although the sparkles of the sliding knot came out very bright. |
Photo N° 3
Although it is out of focus, I like this shot where I look for contrast on the grey-blue stone. |
Photo N° 4
I worked in a studio, with natural light and a ring light. From a nearby window, blue and red colors appear in the light because they are colored glass. |
Photo N° 5
Digital editing with lightroom, cropping, sharpness and white balance. |
