SHARING MY NEW BEADED WORK
Good evening, steam mate. How are you doing.
My name is Jemilat, a talented bead maker in Nigeria and today I am thrilled to show you all my latest design but while at it, I'd like to share my story with everyone too.
Everything needed for the product; beads, scissors, container to put the beads in and fishing line.
I watched a Korean movie titled Itaewon Class and I saw how the protagonist drafted a business plan, started small, had challenges and reached out to investors who invested in him and how he became successful in a short while. Though it was just a movie but I loved how things worked out for him.
The movie was motivating and inspiring. It is the type of movie every struggling business owner should watch.
Trust me, starting small is challenging, a lot of us got plans that needs money to be utilized. I had already started small but I still need investors, supporters and sponsors. So, I reached out to a lot of people and I got a NO for answer which hurt so bad but I tapped myself on the shoulders and I said to me ALL IS WELL. The help, sponsorship, investment, massive sales, brand fame could come one day and even when we don't know when, one should keep hoping and believing.
Here you go. The bead is beautiful.
I started the beading in the night. It was a new pattern of beading I was trying so I couldn't even sleep because I was so interested in seeing the end part of it. It continued all night until morning.
The complete length and width.
This is the very first time I am managing beads to give me exactly what I want. Real definition of IT ONLY GETS BETTER WHEN YOU KEEP TRYING.
It was time to close the sides.
I was tired of just staying at home that day; so I went to a nearby store to continue the job.
By the time I got to this place, it was late at night without power supply but I continued with a flashlight.
Yes, it looked good.
I spent the whole night here too.
I did the hand and the cover that same day.
It was hectic but I was so eager to see the results.
It looked nice. Safe to say it took me two days to get this done.
You know, I really want to expand. I really want my business to grow and go for. My fingers are crossed and my heart keep praying for a sponsor. I hope I find one sooner because my talent is going to waste right now.
Thank you so much for reading my story. Have a good night rest. Bye. 🥰
