LET'S MAKE A HALF CIRCLE BEADED BAG FOR A FRIEND
Hi, Steam Mates.
This is your favorite bead maker, Jemilat from Nigeria. I have been having issues with my account for over three weeks now but it has been fixed. I missed everyone.
Today I am going to share with you a bag I made for my friend on her birthday.
I am one of those people who value friendships so much and I try my possible best to gift my friends during special occasions.
So, let's get right into it. Before that, let me show you what we are making.
Here is what I made for her.
Everything needed for the bag. The bag needs one pack and a little jore. So, I got two packages of beads.
Here you go. This is what a pack looks like.
Our fishing line. It is 70.mm.
This is my buckle; it is used for closure.
This is my scissors for cutting.
This is what the beads looks like when poured on a plate.
This is the very beginning. For this particular bag, it needs a four type bead matting.
So, this is the first step. This is called MATTING and it is the foundation of every beaded bag. We have different types of matting though.
So, this is the second side matting. The sim was 2 by 15.
After the 2 by 15. I counted three at the center and made a three by seven MATTING.
I proceeded to filling to filling the first side up.
Then, I filled the second half up. I was done here.
I proceeded to making the pointed side you are seeing on it so. ✨
Spent almost an hour on the other side of the bag.
I started joining the bag.
It was a bit tasky because the ropes were too much. That's a challenge for this particular kind of bag.
I was done at this moment.
I still had a long way to go though. (Talking about the hand).
So, I started making the hands.
It was going to be just one hand.
I made the hand to this particular place and the first pack finished.
I had to complete it from the second pack.
At this junction I was done with the hand.
It was looking like this without the cover.
At this point, I had inserted the cover.
Cleaned everything up.
Here is what it looks like.
I just admired it so much and I couldn't stop taking pictures of it.
It took me less than 48 hours to put together.
I knew my friend was going to love it too.
More pictures, yeah?
And more?
And moreeeeee? 😍
It's enough. 😂
Thank you so much for reading my blog.
Have a good night rest.
