Macro photography | Garden carnation | Stars on the petals

Hi all!

I love this type of carnation. Because when you look at its petals, it seems like there are stars shining there. I don't know what creates this effect. But it's really cool.

I would think that someone sprayed glitter on top to make the flowers look prettier. That's what flower shop assistants usually do. But that's not the case. Everything here is natural.

I'm really looking forward to summer, when I can go outside and start photographing flowers in the neighboring garden.
