Mining, Packs, and Progress: A Deeper Dive Into Cryptid Hunter

This week, I cracked open a couple more Hunter Packs, and each one felt like a mini adrenaline rush. There's something satisfying about flipping open new cards, especially when a Razar or Atummus pops out with that glowing rare badge.
These little beasts aren’t just pretty collectibles—they're the core of your earning engine.

My strategy this time? Stack for balance. I already had a Unique Kernos with 180.00 mining power per day, so I tried to pair it with Rare cards like Jellyflower and Razar. Now my deck’s output has reached 250.00 Nova per day with a solid ATK of 500. That’s not top-tier yet (I’m still bouncing between Rank 23 and 24), but for a beginner who started fresh, it’s promising.

While managing my deck, I also received an airdrop—a nice surprise. It contained a Normal Enhancer, and let me tell you, these things are gold when you’re building your collection. I’ve also got a couple of Advanced Normal Enhancers stored up. The +5% success rate makes upgrading a little less nerve-wracking, especially when you’re holding duplicates of cards like Hamlictria or Bullet.

But what caught me off guard was something simpler—energy. I hit 0% and couldn't mine or enter dungeons. It was a reminder that even in a digital world, stamina counts. I recharged with 50 Energy Flesks, and just like that, I was back in action. That 2.5 STEEM recharge was worth every bit for keeping my mining streak alive.

Right now, I’m sitting on 108.70 NOVA Tokens, which I mined directly through my active deck. It’s early, sure—but seeing these numbers tick up daily builds momentum. This isn’t some idle game you forget in a week. There’s actual structure here: inventory, dungeons, energy, upgrades—and of course, leaderboard bragging rights.

The more I play, the more I realize this game rewards consistency. You don’t need to whale out on day one. Just stay active, manage your resources smartly, and let those cards do the digging.

Thank you.
This is very informative posting.

Once you have 300 nova I suggest you to buy unique enhancer and upgrade your Kernos.

It cost you 4 rare cards witj 68% success rate.
However I believe it is better than open a slot.

I appreciate your suggestion and it helps a lot. I think opening all the slots would be better first and then going to work on upgrades and synthesis. More Nova, more fun to buy and mine faster.

I think upgrading unique first benefit you more.
It cost 300 nova to upgrade then your mining power increase by 54(180-->234), but open a slot cost you way more 500-->700-->900-->1300+ and if you don't have higher grade card it increase only 35(level 1).

This is why I strongly recommend you to upgrade unique to at least once.

Thank you for the heads up. I will do it for sure looking at the benefits you shared.
