Liverpool 2-2 Manchester United
I used to post football related articles on WOX Sports, but I guess that no longer is working. Anyway this was a very important game, if Liverpool won I believe they would have been unassailable and had a clear run for the title. If Manchester United had lost, they became candidates for relegation. The end result was a 2-2 draw which still has Liverpool 8 points clear of Arsenal with one game less, and Manchester United still only 7 points from relegation and in 13th place.
As a Liverpool fan I do think this was a lost opportunity, but I do think the result is fair, United played a good game and both their goals were very good. Liverpool's football was not so clear today, and i have doubts about Gqakpo's position in the first goal, but VAR does use technology to see if there is an offside so I guess it was good, my eyes are not what they used to be. The penalty, to me, is clear, what that guy was doing with his arms extended beats me. And yes, Maguire could have won the game for United in the last minute.
I never expected this to be an easy game, Amorim is a good coach and already has coached a few games, I expected to see an improvement. the game itself was actually bad in the first half, with United having more chances than Liverpool, but not real good ones. Liverpool looked like lagging. The second half was a different game, both teams played good football, with Liverpool showing some problems in defense. Of course when they attack it is with extreme danger for the rival. But today was not their day.
The draw is better for Liverpool than United, even though Liverpool were home club. One point for United is not much, for Liverpool it is enough to keep their distance from the nearest followers. I am glad I did not bet on this game, because despite having misgivings I would have gone all in for Liverpool.
Always a high importance game... Can't believe that MAN-U is so near the relegation zone - fortunes change and obviously everything goes upside-down. They need new Alex Ferguson and very rarely you can find such high quality coach.

Going into the game, many (including me) were expecting total dominance by Liverpool but as is often the case with Man Utd, they raise their game when the big boys come to town
As much as I’d like Liverpool to win the league and for Man Utd to get relegated, I’d have loved for Maguire to score that chance right at the end!
I’m expecting Man Utd to return to their old ways with next week’s relegation 6-pointer against Southampton!
With WOX Sports, it made sense to merge with World of Sports. There’s not enough Sports content to justify 2 communities in my opinion.
In defense of Maguire it was a terrible cutback pass from Zirkzee. He could have done much better noticing the space maguire had...
It wasn't the easiest of chances. Could Zirkzee have done more? I've probably not seen enough replays to be overly critical of either player.
