Beautiful physalis (Chinese Lantern) & silver dollars in winter ❄️
Photos taken at Cambridge Botanic Gardens 📷
I absolutely loved these vibrant physalis, also called Chinese lanterns. The delicate patterns they form contrasts so beautifully with the silver dollar plants. I could drink in the scene 😌
In this third lockdown, with soaring cases of coronavirus (including my father in a covid ward), the cold English weather and having to juggle work with childcare, there is still much to appreciate! I am doing the Breathe Yoga course with Adriene on YouTube, more artwork with my children and finding inspiration in nature. Are you finding inspiration in the early days of 2021? 🧘🏻♀️ 🎨 🙏🏽
