Winter in Vytegra. Part 1
The snow has almost melted in Vologda, but the Vytegra is much further north...almost Karelia. And there is more snow here...but he also began to melt. It was raining for two days while I was in this northern regional center of the Vologda region.
I wanted to see the real winter, but I brought spring with me.
It's gray and overcast in Vytegra...this is the grayness that I dislike the most.
The grayness in November has at least some graphics, but with the snow everything gets killed.
There is a special flavor in Vytegra.
There are cities and towns that look similar to each other, but there are some with their own distinctive features.
Basically, those places where the river or lake water system is developed stand out. These are Ustye, Belozersk, Sokol, Veliky Ustyug, Sheksna, Cherepovets, Ustyuzhna and Vytegra. There are large rivers everywhere.
But there are places even with normal rivers that don't stand out in any way in terms of atmosphere and appearance.
This city is also interesting because it has a wooden embankment.
And there are also height differences.
And a beautiful renovated church.
I really wanted to go to Vytegra...And I went.
But at first I was upset that it was planned to live 20 kilometers from the city.
But in the end, everything turned out differently and I was able to walk around the daytime city, at night, and even reach the dugouts.
However, it was very difficult to walk, because after the rain, solid ice formed, which I had already experienced in Vologda.
To be continued...
Beautiful place ! Thank you for the pictures.
