The paths of childhood. Grandma's house
In this series, I will tell you about the city of Krasavino, Vologda region, where I spent my childhood. I haven't been here for five years and decided to take a look at how things have changed around.
I'm starting with the usual route. That's how I used to get here to the bus station and then to my grandmother's house. It all starts with the bridge over the Lapinka River.
Then a very long wooden staircase leads up a steep ascent through a fir forest.
The whole city is surrounded by such high hills.
My grandmother lived on one of these hills.
The staircase is over a hundred meters long.
New young fir trees are growing all around.
Previously, there was a struggle for every piece of grassy land, as the grass was mowed for livestock.
Now all these clearings are in young fir trees.
I thought everything was going to change dramatically, but not...
The trees that grew around the house only grew a little taller.
The house itself is still intact.
After I boarded up the windows and doors, no one else crawled inside.
Unfortunately, there is no way to get into the house, but I would like to visit it.
I can't believe there was ever a lot of life here...
As if it wasn't with me or in another life...
Well, I will go further along the paths of my childhood, because they are not limited to just one house.
To be continued...
