Sunset in Belozersk

I made it! I told you I made a combo! I already have a sunrise, beautiful afternoon shots, and now an epic sunset! What else can Belozersk give me? We'll see later, but for now, I want to guide the sun on its last journey across the sky today.

This ancient rampart is a good place to shoot anything from it and everything will look interesting.

There is no more time to move to other locations, it only counts for a few minutes.

I began to take pictures of what was around.

And then I began to shoot the setting sun itself, that is, its disk.

The sun was setting in a cloud, meaning dusk came a couple of minutes earlier.

But I've only watched a bright star fade a few times in my life.

Literally before my eyes, the fireball turned into a dot, and then disappeared altogether.

A guy and a girl stood behind me and also watched the amazing phenomenon.

And when the sun disappeared, I heard enthusiastic cheers!

And goosebumps ran through my body with admiration.

It would seem to be an ordinary everyday event, but we pay attention to it so rarely that it seems like something magical.

The sun went out, I went to wait for the night.
