Sloboda. Part 1

Sloboda is a village in the Sokolsky district of the Vologda region. It is located on the banks of the Sukhona River. There are two wooden newly-built churches in the settlement.

But this place is unique in that there are many wooden sculptures on the Orthodox theme.

It is a pity that most of the sculptures were closed from snow and other precipitation for the winter.

I was here three years ago in the summer, but only at the churches.

This time I decided to explore the village inside and out.

However, it turned out only along the way...along the river bank.

This place is the most comfortable in all plans.

The spirit of the village is felt, although many new houses have already been built...or embedded in the design of plastic.

It seems to me that I want to come here in the summer or at night...or a summer night.

This day was saturated with late-winter.

It seems to be freezing, but comfortable, somewhere up to minus ten.

The Sukhona River makes a sharp turn at this point, which means there is a chance to capture the church from afar with the river in the foreground.

...I used to describe places in a more artistic way.

Maybe I've felt more emotions before?

Over the years, there are fewer and fewer places that could surprise.

Or maybe I haven't woken up yet – it's not spring in my soul yet.
