Maeksa

Maeksa is a village in the Belozersky district and the river of the same name. It also has its own atmosphere – small boats and an old pier. I was passing through here once and took just one picture from the bridge. Now I decided to take a walk along the river, since it is frozen.

The river theme always attracts me: boats, marinas, boats and everything related to it.

I grew up on a navigable river, so the riverine atmosphere attracts me.

The ships are apparently still in working order, but they look battered.

And again, I want to see this place in its heyday...

And when I see something working, functioning, living, it doesn't attract me.

I think winter is not the right time to document such places.

Winter only gives one positive moment – you can move around water bodies.

But when the whole area literally lives on water, it is necessary to show water, not ice and snow.

That's why life is frozen here...

I also looked at old photos of Maeksa and I felt sick...from the realization that there will be no such developed shipping as then.

I would like to take a ride on such a boat.
