Evening in Belozersk
So, I've been to Belozersk twice in winter, but I've never walked on the frozen White Lake. This is the third time and I just have to step on the ice of this water body!
The winter turned out to be warm and the ice cover on most reservoirs is very weak, but I was lucky: there were frosts, and besides, the ice on lakes is usually stronger.
I looked into the distance, saw people on the lake and boldly walked along it myself.
Of course, I followed snowmobile trails or fishing trails.
The goal was to reach the breakwater with a buoy, one of the attractions of Belozersk.
And the next goal after achieving the previous one was to photograph the church together with the buoy.
On the way, I came across ice hummocks, most likely caused by the collision of huge ice floes – the formation of the Earth's mountain systems in miniature!
After studying the information about the nature of the climate in the lake area, I immediately wanted to look at it in a strong storm. Absolutely from the shore.
There is a certain mystical note in walking through such a place, especially when you look into the distance and see nothing but the merging of the sky with the horizon.
I wonder if I have the strength and desire to come here at night?
The sun is already very low above the horizon, but it still won't set.
I was hoping to guide the celestial body beyond the horizon while on the lake.
But I've already done everything I wanted to do, and it's still shining.
In this regard, I decide to accelerate to a running state and move to the rampart, where I can already spend the sun at night.
To be continued...
