Dugouts in Sheksninsky district. Rasbuy and Knyazhe

Further on my excavation tour, there were villages such as Razbuy and Knyazhe. Interesting names and equally interesting places. There are elevation differences everywhere.
In the village of Razbuy, the cellar town stands on the outskirts in a field – just a classic description for all clusters with vegetable storages!

I think that the best shots were taken here, as the cellars were located well in relation to the dark part of the sky.

There was also a lantern shining from afar, so I didn't have to light it myself.

And on white nights, no backlight is needed at all.

The perfectly shaped flowering bird cherry tree, which is shown in the pictures above, successfully fit into the composition.

There are few cellars left here, but there was a decent town in two rows.

The grass is not high yet, but with the appearance of dew, you can still get your feet wet.

I wear boots for this, or I always have a change of shoes and clothes in the car. Last year's experience showed that this is simply a necessity.

In the Knyazhe, the cellars are located in the lowlands, which is a bit unusual for such structures.

They usually stand on a slope, or even on a hill.

Apparently, there are no problems with groundwater here.

The cellar town here is chaotic, there is no consistency.

The entrances all look in different directions.

It is a pity that the fog did not reach the structures – the picture would have been more mystical and, perhaps, the light in the sky would not have been so striking.

The most cozy and quiet place turned out to be Razbuy.

It was the culmination of the whole journey. But it's not over yet. There's still one place left.
