My dialysis schedule was moved back later in this day because of their reason which I doubted

My nurse which makes the schedule of dialysis hook-up for us patients in our center had notified me through a text message yesterday that I will be placed after lunch which is at 2:00 PM. I did asked my nurse why and she told me that a patient is set to be tested for a lab exam which is the monthly bloodwork to see the results before and after the dialysis session. It happens every around second week of the month.
The suspicious side of my thoughts is telling me otherwise because my nurses are known to lie for their reason of change in dialysis schedule of patients. The reason that I could think of is that a patient needs dialysis treatment as soon as possible, so they would beg the nurses to place their schedule sooner and thereby affecting the patient who regularly owns that time slot and the nurses would just tell a lie to the affected patients timeslot so that they would just agree.
Well it happens and I can just pray for it not to happen frequently. I do not like my regular schedule to get affected or robbed by another patient whatever their reason was because I am also a patient and I only get the chance my blood cleaned-out three times a week considering that the quality of cleaning from my dialysis clinic is out of standard already considering too that we do have a lower standard of dialysis here in Asia compared to the western standard which emphasis a better clean whereas for our standard here emphasizes care for the heart although I think it has no difference.
Anyway, the big trouble comes with the fact that my father has a hard time driving at night. If I will be hooked-up at around fifteen to thirty minutes before 4:00 PM which usually happens if they say that the time schedule is 9:00 AM for example, then my hook-up time will be thirty to forty-five minutes after 9:00 AM. So by the time that we will get back home, it will already be dark in the streets and my father has a hard time driving at night, he is nearly 80 years old!
So my mother told me to tell the nurse doing the scheduling to not put my schedule later in the day because of the said reasons. But I told mother to not worry if my father couldn't really drive me anymore because we have a church brethren which is more than happen to help with that problem which if I would last for many years more God-willing and my father can't drive me anymore, will be my main support in terms if driving me to and from the dialysis clinic.

perhaps it is a good thing to tell the nurse why it's a problem for you to start later. BTW I doubt there is dialysis with us at the end of the day/in the evening. Hospitals are like shops with us so they close.

The particular nurse already knows about that concern of mine. I failed to talk to her yesterday because her shift is in the morning. But this kind of issue will be a problem only if it gets frequent. Sometimes I tell not to put me in this or that timeslot and I am given a consideration.
Our dialysis center has four batches of patients right now because apparently there are many new patients which came. It makes me feel sad because of the others which already "not with us right now."
Thank you Miss @wakeupkitty for all your thoughts and concern. 💗💗💗🌹🌹🌹

Hey @cryptopie, thanks for sharing this personal and insightful glimpse into your dialysis experience. It's really powerful how you blend the details of your treatment schedule with the everyday challenges you and your family face. The honesty about the scheduling issues and your father's driving is relatable and moving.
I also appreciate the photos you've included. They add a nice visual element to your story and give us a peek into your daily life.
