It is the start of whole three night Thanksgiving celebration of mcgi.org today
Tonight is the start of the quarterly Thanksgiving celebration of MCGI.org and it is a three-day affair where members of the whole congregation will offer songs of praises from individual members, church locales, whole districts of locales, who division of locales, by region, by country, and by the whole of church worldwide.
You might ask what we do during these three-day event, well we would start the day with singing joyful songs and songs of praises about one hour before the the start of singing hymns before the opening prayer.
Then after that bible reading is done from the last time of the page in the bible where it s was read before. After that the ones that will offer songs and praises in this day will put their offerings in boxes which is a part of the offering of thanksgiving aside from the offering of songs of praises.
Then there are additional recorded events are shown to the congregation like news about basically good deeds, stories of faith, and a long recap of what we had learned about the last topic discussion which is a rolling discussion of how to love other people and one another and doing good works to one another and other people which is the theme of topic discussion for quite a while now.
After that the topic discussion will commence and followed by more offering songs of praises which is a lot because it is a big quarterly event. Sometimes some things are done or added in between these segments depending on what they plan to add but basically it is just a long thanksgiving day and done within a three-day period.
What is hard is that it is done in the very early morning in some places opposite of the planet where I live and in the whole evening here in my place. So I have to prepare for it and not get drowsy so that I can understand what is being discussed in the topic discussion which will not begin after all of the events before it ends but at hat point it is already deep in the night so I have to keep my brain awake although I do not want to drink coffee otherwise I will not get a good sleep for the next day and do it all over again.
