Is it better to have a business than to get a job or pursuee a career?
We had fat clouds yesterday and it forms heavy clouds which makes rains later in the day.
When my mother is still operating a variety store I had the idea of making condensed milk candies and repacking nuts and candies. They gave me a profit which motivated me in doing it again and again until I can no longer physically but the kilos of merchandise that I was repacking. These are the raw and cooked peanuts, peanuts with caramel coating, marshmallows, Jelly candies in snake and other forms, banana chips and even cooked popcorn with cheese powder flavor.
The raw peanut is quite hard to prepare because I have to cook it and make it not greasy before repacking it in small sealed bags and I sell it for only five pesos. It will take me until midnight to repack all the candies because I have to seal each and every kilos of these merchandise of snacks and it was exhausting because I am already a dialysis patient then and being physically weak makes me feel the tiredness more.
I just stopped after I can't carry the heavy bags of merchandise and at that time my physical appearance already has been changing quite considerably. Years more later I ended=-up developing Leontiasis and this sideways curvature of my back along with pain all over y body, I just recently improved my condition but there is no way that I can go back to being normal again in terms of doing physical work as even walking to the bathroom now is a chore.
I was planning to take-over the variety store of my mother and make it better just like what my neighbor from a few houses away from our store does. He has a good number of customers because he has a lot of neighbors from the back of his house and he has a lot of products to sell as well. Our store in the other hand have not much merchandise for the reason that we get most of our needs from it so the capital is always used until my sister took over after they lived initially with us with his husband here in the house until my brother sold the bakery turned house to her where they are living now. Then she closed the store for good until she practiced her profession as a high school teacher, that is her career now.
So we have in idle store now in front of our house which had been turned into an ugly warehouse by my father who happen to be a hoarder. We have lots of used timing belts which my father collected over the years and lots of eye sore things which you would want to think of spraying with gasoline just to make tall go away.
But anyway, making a business is a good way to earn bigger income depending on lots of factors. You might establish a business that would flop all because you do not like what you are doing or still have no idea what you are doing or just incapable of running a business outright. But you can make your hobby fruitful enough and you enjoy it and it will turn-out to transform as your business because you get to sell what you are doing or making.
The in-law of my brother is now rich because he established a semi-mobile food service which sells food to employees of factories here in our town. Now he owns a property which he is renting out, has a car, a house, and of course money. Well of course managing the food service has a lot of responsibility because his business had been expanded to more than one area but it gave him a much better life.
In contrast, looking for a job especially here in my country might give you a way to earn money of you happen to land in a job but it will not make you rich. It depend of what career path that you are planning to have like for example, if you plan to be a nurse and work abroad, it will take determination and hard work to do so but it will pay up and it really will make you rich, not instantly but in due time with lots of hard work it soon will. That is why professionals here in my country always are thinking to work abroad even before they study in a College or university because they will earn much better compared to practicing their career here because there isn't any better opportunities here for them to give them a better life.
As for my case I had turned into a lucky investor because of the circumstances which happened to me online although I really searched hard to find ways to improve my economic or financial standing because of my desperate need to earn money. If not for crypto and God's mercy and and grace to my wretched soul I wouldn't really survived because I will not have the means to control my medical issues like what happened to my bones and that event in the transition of 2019-2020 where I was meaning and groaning while fireworks are crackling around me.
It was that time where my appendix burst before the surgeon was able to take it out from abdomen and I paid lots of money for that surgery which my family will never afford. Well for one thing I will not go to the hospital if I have no money and die here in the house, but because I have the funds necessary to even chose the hospital where I got my appendix removed, I survived and was able to tell now the take about it.
One of the main reason why we have to choose where we can get or source our funds is for the sake of surviving in this world. It is because if we cannot speak, money will speak for us, if we cannot help ourselves to move things, money will help us move things, if we have to make things happen for our interests and benefits, money can make us things to happen in many instances. This world is jungle, a concrete jungle where we need some power to at least continue our lives without much problems that will makes our lives miserable if not end prematurely.

Your father sounds like the father of a friend. Like she says: he saves everything and my mother buys eveeything...
Marketing is the biggest hurdle. If you are good at it you can sell everything.

Investing had been a part of my life now and telling my stories through social media blockchain is already in that mix. I am thankful to God that I had found a way to help myself, it is a miracle to my life that this happened because otherwise I wouldn't have survived.
And yes, with empowerment by money we can do positive things in our lives may it be to just augment poverty or change lives for the better, lucky are the ones that made it big in life because for one thing, nobody else will really help us but ourselves in the end so we have to strive to survive plus putting God in our lives. @wakeupkitty
