RE: Rest In Peace Pepper - Our Baby Boy, Our Pepperoni, Our Buddy Boy.. Mommy and Daddy LOVE You

in WORLD OF XPILAR4 years ago

Dear @bdmillergallery,
your article ended up in my feed because @stef1 did a resteem. I have to admit that this is the first time I read something from you, so I never got to know pepper alive.
Nevertheless I would like to tell you how much your text touched me. Really, tears came to my eyes while reading it.
I, too, have lost so many loyal Buddies, whom I loved more than anything else, so I know exactly how you feel. It is a very nice gesture to record Pepper's last day, you dedicated a very dignified last article to him.
I'm sure Pepper is fine. With all the other four-legged darlings gone, he will tell with a glow on his sweet dog face what a wonderful family he had on earth! And one day your souls will meet again - this always happens when love is everlasting.
Warm regards from Northern Germany,
Chriddi

He was a huge long part of our lives and he did end up in a lot of my posts in one way or another. He had a very curious nature to him.. very inquisitive. I used to call him "Snoopy" and "Shadow". Wherever I was he was and he was usually poking his nose into whatever I was doing. I will miss that.

I needed to write this post for the healing aspect of it. I find that when I get it out in words, written down, it is a release of sorts. Also I felt I needed to pay my last respects in this way.. sort of honor his death. As you know, since you too have been through the pain of loosing a fur friend, these times are very rough. Everyday there's something that reminds me of him and I cry too. I hate bringing anyone to tears, but you connected with it and in a weird way, that brought a smile to my face.. knowing you too care deeply for others, and your own buddies.

Thank you for taking the time to let me know you read and that you care.. Warm wishes from Southern New Jersey, USA.
