RE: The World of XPILAR - CITYSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #173-The Gem Of Manado City
An interesting effect on a long exposure. I can see the wet bottom of the rocks, but I don't see the "haze" from the incoming waves... this means that the water level decreased gradually. Is it due to the ebb tide? What was the length of exposure?))
I photographed this scene as the water began to recede due to low tide. The foreground area consists of the remaining pooled water. I used my friend's 10-stop ND filter because the sun was still quite high, to soften the water movement at the front of the river stream. If I'm not mistaken, the shutter speed ranged from 60 seconds to 150 second
it turned out well, it's a pretty fast ebb :)
