Through Lands of Giants - Por tierra de gigantes

Across the vast plain, beneath an endless sky, rides Don Quixote, the Knight of the Sorrowful Figure, and his loyal squire, Sancho Panza. The first, tall and gaunt, sits astride his weary horse; the second, stout and earthy, perches firmly on his stubborn donkey. The knight seeks out giants that exist only in his imagination, chasing gallant adventures from a bygone era. Sancho follows him, indifferent to his companion’s anachronistic world, yet lost in dreams of ruling over rich "insulas". The idealist and the pragmatist, forever complementing each other, move as one despite their differences. Friends and companions in a world that often tries to divide them, they face every challenge together, sharing misadventures with an unbreakable bond.

It's great to see Don Q. on the way
He looks good in watercolour and I see
How he learned to ignore the great windmills.

I am happy with the close ups
Showing the fine brush strokes and shade-lines.

The scene is more of a tribute to my homeland, La Mancha. Previously I shared a crazed Don Quixote furiously hurling himself against the giants, in a more dynamic painting. This one is more of a calmer watercolor. Thank you very much for the comment and support.
