Escape from Duckov Trailer

NOTE: The game is currently FREE on steam and it was released as a DEMO, if you want to try it now's the time!

YOU DID NOT READ THE TITLE WRONG! This is not Escape from Tarkov but it's not far from it, well from the mechanics perspective.

You start your journey inside a pretty big bunker that is your home, here you prepare yourself to quack the shit out of the outside world.
Here's an overview of the bunker:

The spawn area is where you start the game and also here you respawn when ever you die. The Main Room starts as an empty one but here you can place different structures that can help you in your journeys, over my current gameplay I placed some crafting tables (for meds and weapons) and a GYM so far.

On the far left side of the bunker we have a shooting range, where you can practice your weapons and the cool part is that there's no ammo wasted. As for the Strengthen device, you can forge upgrades for your character (Extra HP, DMG, Stamina and so on).

StorageQuest NPC

Storage, as the name suggests, used to store items, a cool feature of it is the auto sort options, it get clunked with items and sorting them makes finding the right item faster. The Quest NPC

Now let's move to the actual gameplay, I will attach below a link to my youtube channel where you can check the gameplay:

NOTE: The gameplay might look a little bit fuzzy (or it is only me) because I recorded it with STEAM's built-in game recording to test it.

The current gameplay takes place 30mins or so since I installed the game, I wanted to first check it and make sure if I'd like to play it, that's why I have an AK and some pistols.

As you get outside the bunker you can start exploring around, your main mission is to explore, find loot and extract back to bunker safely.

The first ducks you meet aren't that bad, they hit you decently, luckily I have an AK and I can melt them fast, my first minutes when all I had was a melee weapon and a pistol, I died like 4-5 times before getting a better weapon.

All I did was explore, kill, get loot and try to escape with it so I could buy upgrades. At one I remembered there are quests and started focusing on them too, so I could level up and strengthen some perks.

Forgot to mention, I think at one point I found some sort of Duck BOSS, I could barely damage it, I tried to run but somehow it got me pretty fast and killed me in 1 hit.

The cool part is that once dead, you can go back to the zone you were killed and grab your loot, but if on your way there you die again, the loot is gone forever.

The game feels nice overall, it might make you rage at first if you die a couple of times like I did, but if you play it safe and don't try to rush things it should be fine. I will continue the adventure until Marvel Spider Man 2 gets an updated, I am currently stuck on the second mission there, getting crashes pretty often.

If you also want to play Escape From Duckov, check their steam page and do a review after you played it.

Until next part I am wishing you a great day, stay tuned for more!
