I Bought 3 Cards For Round 169. I Am Trying Out My Luck

Life is unpredictable and at times we may get happy with simple things such as playing a simple game which teaches us and makes us excited at the same time. I recently chose to gamble in a game known as the Steem Bingo and my gameplay experience has been an interesting one. It is a card game in which you purchase cards using your Steem tokens and all the cards have random numbers. Once you make a purchase, you sit and wait until the numbers are announced. Should the released numbers be equal to the numbers in your card, then you win. If not, you lose. It is that straightforward, but it brings so much fun and an underlying life lesson as well.

In Round 169, I purchased three cards with the price of 2 Steem tokens apiece. I had the feeling that this was the good opportunity to take a risk. The numbers on the cards were of varied sets which looked quite promising to me. In the first card, I had 2, 4, 7, 8, 9, 17, 19, 20, 26, 30, 31, 32, 34, 39, 46, 52, 54, 58, 60, 61, 65, 66, 70, 73, etc. Looking at these numbers, I said to myself that anything can happen. I visualized the way it would be beautiful in case the winning numbers are in these.

The other hope was also on the other card. It had numbers like 1, 6, 7, 10, 11, 21, 22, 26, 28, 29, 31, 37, 39, 45, 50, 51, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 64, 68, and 75. I smiled upon seeing the mix as it looked well balanced. My numbers were low and high, which made me have a certain degree of confidence that I had a fair chance of doing well.

This game is not only beautiful because of winning but also because of the suspense of having an anticipation of the number being called. It makes you think, it makes you anticipate and it keeps your soul in motion. It made me very optimistic as I had three cards and therefore my chances of winning were higher when compared to purchasing a single card. I was already picturing myself as one of the winners in Round 169 in my mind.

The other thrilling aspect of the Steem Bingo is that it is a round game. Every round is associated with new opportunities and new chances. I focused on Round 169, but I was even anticipating the following round. The rounds do make me remember that life is also in phases. Some lessons I gained in addition to the excitement in this game are of a life lesson. As in Steem Bingo, life is all about risking. You cannot always predict what is going to happen but you must be ready to give it a go. Unless you purchase a card, you will never win. Similarly, when you fail to take risks in life you will never become successful. It is sweet to win but it is still sweeter to have the manliness to do so.

I also got to know that there are times that despite not winning, you are not losing. You get experience, you get the pleasure of the process and you get hope to live on. This is not just another game to me. It is a question of hope, patience and learning to have fun in the process regardless of whether I win or not.

I am excited as I await the determination of the numbers of Round 169. I glance at my cards and fantasize about them. Perhaps in my cards the winning numbers will come, perhaps not. But one thing I know is that I am glad I did. And after all, life rewards those who make risky moves.

The outcome of this round is very much anticipated by me, and the subsequent rounds that will follow it will be even more anticipated. A new start and a new opportunity comes every round. And that is what is making Steem Bingo not only a fun game, but also a reflection of life itself. I am a winner regardless of the outcome of winning or losing because I took the initiative.
