You use chrome because 'everyone' does and like most people the time will not easily be invested in trying out something new which means if a device arrives with google it remains google.

Am not using chrome because everyone does but it because of my Mobile phone. When I was using a good phone which is Techno spack 5pro, I didn't even use chrome browser at all as I was using steem pro to write. But currently am using Huawei G9 and I so discouraging in blogging.
Imagine when I want to read a post you can't view images or part from videos. So that's another stress I have as I have to copy the link of that post and paste it in another browser. From there I could see everything about the post.
I have tried different app but it not working on the phone. Even steemit is flag as a not secured platform. I downloaded steem pro but I couldn't login so I had to uninstall it. I tried new app invented by some witnesses but I still experience the same. I gave find so many way but still no positive results so I had to endure it.
I use Phoenix browser to read and view images. When I log in there's no navigation in the browser unlike chrome. Am just managing it for until I can get myself a good phone.

I agree with you we use whatever is available to us like chrome, google or any other apps we don't have unless we have a good phone.
I mostly use Google. Other than that I don't use any other app till now.
You don't need google chrome there are plenty of browsers doing the job. Kiwi is good, so is Adaware (not all the annoying advertisements) and there's Firefox (also a light version) so plenty of choice.
What is a good phone? My newest one is from 2017 and I still have the former one and would use it if Samsung wouldn't have made it sooo slow that access to the internet is impossible. I do use it for Telegram and as a timer.
We used to play games on telegram 🤫 but when we found out it was fake then we deleted it.
I never played games on Telegram I wouldn't even know how to find them. Mus be because I live under a rock? What kind of games you played?
We used to do mining on Telegram, we also played games of To-Market or Blum. And Seed was also mined. By doing this we used to get coins from which we used to earn money. Initially, my brother earned money by doing this, but when we started, we found out that we were scammed and 3 months of hard work went to waste.
After that we deleted the telegram.

So, sort of mining games? I believe they still exist. The clicking or whatever but if it comes to payment, you have to pay something you find out later.
You never earn dear, at the start it is to make you play and preferably pay as well. Only if you ear a bit you are motivated to continue and talk others into it.
Keep this in mind: if it sounds too good to be true it is not true and if it would work everyone would do it and poverty wouldn't exist.

What do you mean by "steem pro".
Can you use the app steem mobile?
In the settings of your phone you can set that steem is accepted.
How come pictures and videos are not shown? It sounds as if this option is switched off to save data or battery. Again you can have a look at the setting.
Can't you install a different browser and use that one for Steemit? How about KIWI browser it's a very light one and I installed it too.
Oh it's steem pro, it use to be steem pro before it was upgraded to steem mobile.

I think it the phone. Just an old Huawei. I will try this kiwi browser then. Have you use it in steemit? I use Phoenix browser to read but no navigation on it. That's why I can't use it all the time. I know the stress I have to go through to engaged and create content here.
Like I said, we just have to understand what works better for us and I can understand your perspective regarding changing phone because that can be a major issues too using the right gadgets or…..but chrome works better for me though.

If I understand you very well what you're trying to say; you're not using chrome just because everyone is using it but it because that's what's available with in you. Dis it get it right. If yes then I will say you're not the only one. When I look at what @wakeupkitty.pal said, some phone comes with Google and it might not run apart from google. That's doesn't means if you have the hand to get another phone you can not. For my opinion am using Huawei and Google something does not run on this device. Even when it been configured, you will still have some errors when using it. Talking about honesty, you're the king in your kingdom you can't allow a stranger to comw and spoiled things for you. I think it all depends on what works for you..for some it’s the other way round and will say am recently getting used to using both.
