Tiramisu - An Excellent, Delicious, And Elegant Italian Dessert

Good day/salve, fellow Steemit users from the Italy community as well as dear readers from both Steemit and outside of it! For today's personal contribution on the Steemit community, I wanted to write about tiramisu, an excellent, delicious, and elegant Italian dessert which I tasted myself in the past.

Writing from personal experience, I would like to further highlight the fact that tiramisu is a very beautiful, aesthetically-pleasant, and refined dessert which is a staple of the Italian cuisine. It is a very valuable part of the Italian cuisine and of the European cuisine in general. In point of fact, it is so beautiful and well known that it became popular worldwide.

Tiramisu is therefore a traditional Italian dessert dating to the 1960s which traces its roots to one of the regions of Veneto or Friuli Venezia Giulia (its exact origins are still disputed to this day), both situated in the northeast of Italy. This refined coffee-flavoured traditional Italian dessert is made of sponge fingers dipped in coffee, with layers of a mixture of mascarpone, sugar, and egg yolks, all flavoured with cocoa.

This dish is best served cold and fresh and, from my personal experience as well as in my humble opinion, in moderation, naturally. It might be tempting to eat another portion once you finish your first one, but, it is wise not to and best save it for later instead.
