Considerations
Today with 3D prints you can really do a lot of things. I also realized that sometimes the limit of what you can do with a 3D printer are only two things: one limit is given by the print size, while the other limit is given by our imagination.
Basically a 3D printer is a machine capable of creating three-dimensional objects starting from a digital model. Today, anyone who is able to build a three-dimensional model using modeling software is also able to create a physical print, that is, they can create exactly the object they have designed.
Today there are 3D printers on the market capable of reaching printing speeds of up to 300 mm/s, thus drastically reducing production times. Other printers today can have a resolution of up to 50 microns. Also today almost all printers are equipped with an automatic self-leveling system that greatly simplifies the printing preparation process (since I own an old generation printer I know very well what this means).

A few years ago I bought a 3D printer to print house models. This was a useful action for an architectural firm that had commissioned the work. Over time I noticed that with a 3D printer you could make many useful objects for the home too. The last object I made were some key ring plates. In this post there are images relating to these objects that I printed and used to arrange all the keys that were not well ordered and organized.
The beauty of this thing is also the fact that I did not leave home to get these key rings. I did not have to search for them and I did not have to select the ones I liked, I designed them exactly as I wanted them.

Conclusions
Today with 3D printers we can use many objects for the home. Printers are much cheaper than they were 10 years ago, so they are becoming more and more accessible.

Considerazioni
Oggi con le stampe 3D si possono davvero fare tante cose. Mi sono accorto anch’io che a volte il limite di quello che si può realizzare con una stampante 3D sono solo due cose: un limite è dato dalle dimensioni di stampa, mentre l’altro limite è dato dalla nostra immaginazione.
Sostanzialmente una stampante 3D è una macchina in grado di creare oggetti tridimensionali partendo da un modello digitale. Oggi chi è in grado di costruire un modello tridimensionale tramite un software di modellazione, è anche in grado di creare una stampa fisica, cioè può creare esattamente l’oggetto che ha disegnato.
Oggi ci sono stampanti 3D sul mercato in grado di raggiungere delle velocità di stampa fino a 300 mm/s, riducendo così drasticamente i tempi di produzione. Altre stampanti riescono oggi ad avere una risoluzione fino a 50 micron. Inoltre oggi quasi tutte le stampanti sono dotate di un sistema di auto livellamento automatico che semplifica notevolmente il processo di preparazione della stampa (siccome io posseggo una stampante di vecchia generazione so molto bene che cosa significhi questo).

Qualche anno fa comprai una stampante 3D per stampare modelli di case. Questa era un’azione utile per uno studio di architettura che mi aveva commissionato il lavoro. Con il tempo ho notato che con una stampante 3D si potevano realizzare tantissimi oggetti utili anche per la casa. L’ultimo oggetto che ho realizzato sono delle piattine portachiavi. In questo post ci sono le immagini relative proprio a questi oggetti che ho stampato ed ho usato per sistemare tutte le chiavi che non erano ben ordinate e organizzate.
Il bello di questa cosa è anche il fatto che non mi sono mosso da casa per avere questi portachiavi. Non li ho dovuti cercare e non ho dovuto selezionare quelli che mi piacevano, li ho disegnati esattamente come li volevo.

Conclusioni
Oggi con le stampanti 3D possiamo utilizzare tantissimi oggetti per la casa. I costi delle stampanti sono decisamente inferiori rispetto a 10 anni fa, quindi iniziano ad essere sempre più accessibili.
