I took a look at some news regarding current events, the world of stocks and the world of cryptocurrencies, below I report the three news that struck me the most.

1-Italy: 2024 bad year for commercial activities
Some data from Confesercenti relating to 2024 have been released which attest that approximately 61,000 commercial businesses have closed their business. What could balance it out would be the number of new businesses, but these stop at around 23,000. According to Confesercenti, 2024 was a bad year for commercial businesses.
Furthermore, there is a trend of new business openings that is always decreasing and it would seem that if the situation were to continue with this sort of desertification, in 2034 we could theoretically arrive at no new commercial business openings

Personal considerations

I believe that the phenomenon of the closure of commercial activities is clearly visible throughout Italy. The centers are emptying and the towns are less alive. I believe that this factor is due to two causes. One cause is due to the fact that the economic situation is not the best and above all the tax pressure in Italy is enormous. A friend of mine closed his pizzeria at the end of 2024 due to excessively high energy costs. The other cause is that some commercial activities suffer from the ruthless competition of E-commerce which is expanding more and more.

The MSCI World ETF is an ETF that tracks the stocks of 23 developed countries around the world. We can say that it is a sort of thermometer for that part of the world that is more technologically developed. I find it very interesting that this index has made a +20%. We can almost say that wealth in the most technologically developed part of the world has increased by 20% in a year.

Polygon in a year has made a -73%. I would never have expected it. A year ago Polygon could also be seen as one of the best layer 2 of Ethereum. Maybe it still is, but the fact is that in a year, the token has had a very high drop in value.

Ho dato un’occhiata ad alcune notizie che riguardano l’attualità, il mondo delle azioni ed il mondo delle cripto valute, qui di seguito riporto le tre notizie che mi hanno colpito di più.

Sono usciti alcuni dati di Confesercenti relativi al 2024 in cui si attesta che circa 61.000 imprese del commercio hanno chiuso l’attività. Ciò che potrebbe bilanciare sarebbe il numero di attività nuove, ma queste si fermano a circa 23.000. Secondo Confesercenti il 2024 è stato un brutto anno per le imprese commerciali.
Inoltre c’è un trend di aperture di imprese nuove sempre calante e sembrerebbe che se la situazione dovesse continuare con questa sorta di desertificazione, nel 2034 si potrebbe teoricamente ad arrivare a nessuna nuova apertura di attività commerciali

Considerazioni personali

Credo che in tutta Italia sia ben visibile il fenomeno della chiusura delle attività commerciali. I centri si svuotano ed i paesi sono meno vivi. Io credo che questo fattore sia dovuto a due cause. Una causa è dovuta al fatto che la situazione economica non è delle migliori e soprattutto la pressione fiscale in Italia è enorme. Un mio amico ha chiuso la pizzeria a fine 2024 per i costi energetici troppo alti. L’altra causa è che alcune attività commerciali soffrono la concorrenza spietata dell’E-commerce che si sta ampliando sempre di più.

L’etf MSCI World è un ETF che traccia le azioni di 23 paesi sviluppati in tutto il mondo. Possiamo dire che è una sorta di termometro per quella parte di mondo più tecnologicamente sviluppata. Trovo un fatto molto interessante che questo indice abbia fatto un +20%. Possiamo quasi dire che la ricchezza nella parte del mondo più sviluppata tecnologicamente è aumentata del 20% in un anno.

Polygon in un anno ha fatto un -73%. Io non me lo sarei mai aspettato. Un anno fa Polygon poteva anche essere visto come uno dei migliori layer 2 di Ethereum. Forse lo è ancora, ma sta di fatto che in un anno, il token ha avuto un calo di valore molto alto.

Mi ha colpito molto quella sulle chiusure delle attività commerciali in Italia.. fa tristezza vedere i centri svuotarsi.
Però sarebbe strano il contrario visto le tasse altissime e costi energetici alle stelle.
Ma quanto si può andare avanti a queste condizioni..
Per polygon mi dispiace perché l'ho sempre apprezzato. Ma il mondo crypto è così, vedremo se riuscirà a tenere duro e proseguire il suo sviluppo.
Un’altra conseguenza dello svuotamento dei centri è anche l’abbasamento della sicurezza del centro stesso. Ormai girare di notte a Forlì c’è da avere un po’ di timore.
