Vizlas Dogs And GPS
A research team from Oxford University and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences installed a tracking device commonly used for pigeons on a pack of dogs.

This tracking device is used to monitor social behavior and determine the personality of a pack of dogs. This technology can be used to find and save lost dogs. Six Vizlas dogs were selected for this mission.
Vizlas are a type of hunting dog from Hungary that tend to be tame and easy to train.
"They found that other dogs tend to be followers and slightly more aggressive. Vizlas are not aggressive dogs, but there are differences in behavior from each. They are easy to train and are the oldest pack".
The team found that the movement patterns of this dog pack were related to their social behavior network. Then certain dogs emerged as pack leaders. They also noted that leaders did not force other dogs to become followers. This preliminary data suggests that dog packs are more leadership-hungry than wolf packs.
"The results of this study will make it easier for them to train hunting dogs, especially young dogs."
The researchers believe that the method will trigger broader research, not only on dogs, but other species including humans.
Greetings always compact.
