The holy month of Ramadan is now underway. During the month of Ramadan, all Muslims around the world fast without eating all day long. They have to fast from morning to evening. In the morning, they have to eat Sehri before the time for Fajr prayer. The food that is eaten at the end of the night until the time for Fajr prayer begins is called Sehri. They have to make the intention to fast for the whole day by eating food during Sehri.
Those who fast do not eat any more food for the whole day after the time for Sehri ends. The fasting people finish their fast after eating food after sunset. The food that is eaten after sunset at the end of the day is called Iftar. After starting their fast by eating Sehri at the last night, they have to break their fast after sunset in the evening and end their fast by breaking their fast.

Muslims organize a good meal during Iftar after fasting all day, all the fasting people organize different meals during Iftar, all the fasting people arrange different types of food on their plates during Iftar and wait for the time of Iftar, when it is time for Iftar, everyone starts eating food.
All the fasting people eat dates first during Iftar, then they eat other foods during Iftar, because our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) liked to eat dates during Iftar, he ate different types of fruits along with dates during Iftar, if there is no fruit during Iftar, then the taste of Iftar is not fully available, and eating fruits during Iftar saves the body's energy.

During Iftar, there is a need to have sherbet along with other foods. During Iftar, fasting people feel more comfortable eating sherbet than other foods. Eating sherbet relieves the fatigue of the whole day from the body. Due to fasting without eating all day, one feels thirsty for water. After eating sherbet, that thirst for water is relieved. Sherbet is necessary for fasting people during Iftar.
When we all sit together as a family and eat iftar, it feels much better. During Iftar, everyone in our family is busy arranging the iftar food on their plates. Today, during Iftar, along with various fruits, muri and chickpeas are served on everyone's plates. My children enjoy it a lot during Iftar. Even though they are not fasting, they sit with us to eat iftar. Today's iftars were much more delicious.

Thanks everyone for reading my post today. |
