A sea of holes for Photochain edition N 57

in Italy6 days ago

Greetings Steemians! First of all, let me share some joyful news: with the last powerup, my Steem Power reached 1499 SP. Nice! Soon with more posts and your nice support, I will reach 2k, thats for sure.

And now, this post.

This photosession I created today for week #78 of Photochain Challenge, run by @davidesimoncini. (Click banner in the tail of the post to see more details, and support other entries.) The current prompt suggested finding or creating yourself an image that combines 2 keywords: HOLE and CHIP(s).

Chip is a rich vocabulary word that has wide spectre of meanings, some are pretty surprising: from casino counters to small pieces of wood, including here computer microchips. That last one sounds especially tempting to me!

So, I pulled the hard drive from my old laptop out of the closet and took a picture of it. It has a lot of nice looking holes, and undoubtedly contains computer chips (much more than one).

I used a newspaper with photos of my city as a background, and one of the pictures, with a statue and a cross, which determined the keyword I wanted to add to the Photochain.

This goes as my entry for the week #78 of Photochain Challenge, run by @davidesimoncini. (For more details click the banner below). Current prompt suggested to find (or create ourself) an image combining 2 keywords: CHIP(s) and HOLE. My personal keyword, which I add to the Photochain, will be 'CROSS'.

Congrats on your Power up. Yay. On to 2k and beyond 👍

Great post and creative thinking. PhotoChain can bring out the best in you. You are quite right. Chips can mean a lot of things, not only the one that is eaten. Your interpretation is excellent. And so is your keyword.

Thanks for promoting PhotoChain Challenge 😊
