Spotted this in my garden yesterday. I could’ve sworn I planted garlic in this growbag, but I suppose not everything grows the way we intend...

The labels on the seed packets must have been interchanged. Hahaha But they are beautiful flowers. The grass behind looks the same as the ones found here in our place. Is this in Bukidnon? Well, best of luck to you. 😊

Speaking of garlic, I have in our garden a garlic vine that blooms such beautiful flowers. The whole plant, leaves and flowers, smell of garlic and can actually be used for food just like garlic. I call it the pungent beauty. Here it is.

With this you can now say you planted garlic and not be wrong when the flowers appear instead 😄

Gems, did I ever tell you I’m from the Philippines? This is in Catigan, Toril. 😂
You’ve got such a good eye! Can you speak Bisaya? Or are you from up North? 😅

I didn’t even know a garlic vine existed - it’s so beautiful!
The garlic I planted came from supermarket bulbs, not seeds. 😅 I would have loved to have a garlic vine in my garden. But I do have rosemary which I treasure the most - I love the smell 😊

I don't know precisely for the effective results, but this is certainly a good entry for the contest. Thank you for being here also this week. Welcome and a big good luck! :D

The result was clearly unexpected 😅 Thank you, Davide!

What's in the bag? Garlic especially the wild one have beautiful flowers.

I have no idea what kind of weeds ended up growing in the bag.
But yes, wild garlic flowers are really beautiful. They're the kind of flower I actually like - I think they're called ramsons? Those small, star-shaped ones.

One day your garlic shows somewhere. We had it with the seeds of the wildflowers. Nothing and after years they showed. I didn't see the wild garlic back. I love the smell. A good week ahead!

Ay sus. Bisayag dako man diay ka. Taga Davao City ko bai. Duol duol naman lang diay ta. Sakop pa man sa Davao ang Toril. Perte man gyud ka slang ang imung ngalan. Abi nako taga London ba o America hehe.

Never tried rosemary but we did have basil before but somehow they don't last long but we enjoy our salad and bread with it for as long as the plant lives and gives healthy aromatic leaves. Mao gihapon, sa supermarket namo gipalit ang plant.

The garlic vine was planted by our former gardener. I don't remember if it was just a cutting or a plant with roots. It's actually a prolific plant with leaves sprouting and creeping all over the place. Kung dili mabantayan, tua na sa electric cables naglatay. But I don't mind as long as it blooms such beautiful flowers. They're just scent specific, meaning people who hate garlic might not treasure it because of its smell 🤭

Lol. Taga Sub-Saharan Mindanao man diay pud ka. Wakandaforever! 😂 Abi nako taga Southern Europe ka! 😂

I tried basil too, but same as yours - it just doesn’t seem to last.
But the garlic vine? I’ve never seen one before! Abi nako white ang flower pag garlic. 😂
I mean, who doesn’t like the smell of garlic?
It’s the kind of smell that makes you ask, “Unsa inyong sud-an?”
The ultimate conversation starter! Haha!
