Well, @wakeupkitty.pal my tortoise is not indoors but in the garden and it is a climber.
He climbed so much on this wire mesh that I found him on many occasions lying face up on the other side. I decided to change the position of the wire mesh so that he would not get hurt anymore. I don't think she was hurting from the falls because she did it repeatedly.
