It is a gift to know that there is so much fantastic nature almost in the immediate vicinity in my own home country and I enjoyed the trip very much.
From your situation I can even understand "envy", but basically this is not a nice feeling at all. I wish you so much that your state of health somehow allows you to experience the beauty of nature in your own environment (you don't have to see the whole world) with open eyes one day!
