잡초가 도드라지네요
고향 마당입니다. 예전에 고향에 가면 마당에 있는 금잔디가 반겨주곤 했습니다. 금색깔이 난다고 해서 금잔디라고 불리는 것 같습니다. 어렸을 때부터 보아온 잔디입니다. 그러나 얼마 전에 고향집에 가보니 마당이 헝크러진 머리카락처럼 되었습니다.돌보는 사람이 없어서 일까요? 그 보기 좋던 금잔디 마당에 잡초가 한가득입니다.
폭염을 피해 저녁시간 즈음에 잡초를 한시간 정도 뽑으면 정리될 줄 알았는데 잔디밭의 반절 정도만 뽑았습니다. 다시 집으로 돌아가야 해서 나머지는 뽑지 못했습니다. 추억이 깃든 집이 엉망이 되어가는 모습을 보니 마음이 편치마는 않습니다. 그래도 금잔디로 가득한 마당은 살려내야 할 것 같습니다. 시간을 내봐야죠.
