Chess Tournament update, prizes and tutorial || Tron Fan Club
Greetings everyone. As you all might know that a Chess Tournament is about to start in the community. The participation window is finally over and it's finally time to announce the Prizes of the tourney and the rules of the game.
Firstly, let's start with the prize of this Tournament. The total prize of the Tournament is 1600 TRX. This whole amount will be distributed between the top 4 players of the overall Tournament [ 1st, 2nd ,3rd, 4th ].
So far, 16 players have registered for the tournament.
They are:-
The matches of this tournament will be played based on international Chess rules. But to make things interesting and to deal with stalemates/draws, we are adding points for each chess piece. The points of both players will be counted whenever there will be a stalemate situation. The individual with the most points will win the match.
The point of each Chess piece is given below...
The Bishop -2 point [ each ]
The Knight- 3 point [ each ]
The Rook- 2 point [ each ]
The Queen- 5 point
First you have to join the voice channel where the match will be hosted. Then click on the join activity option written below Chess in the Park Now you will have to click on create game or join game option. Who gets to host will be decided via toss. The winner of the toss will have to create the game and will get the chance to choose between white and black pieces. Just simply click on create game option after choosing the color. The other player will just have to simply join the created game. I hope that clears out any confusions regarding joining the game. Also try to have a good internet connection while playing the game/joining the game. Logging in for the first time takes a bit more time. So, try to join the game 5 to 10 minutes earlier in your first game. That's all. Hopefully nobody has any more questions or confusions regarding the tournament.
