Parents and caregivers are the people who have the most influence on children. Most children are raised by their parents whereas some are raised by caregivers which means both people influence children. However, in a family where a child is raised by his or her parents it is the mother that has influenced.

When a child is still young it is the mother that has the most influence. But as a child keeps growing up, the influence of his or her father becomes greater than that of his or her mother because the child is no longer been pampered by his or her mother which the father does due to his financial responsibility in taking good care of his family makes father to have influenced on children the most.

Who influenced you most during your childhood?

During my childhood, it was my mother that influenced me the most. When I was a child I wasn't that close to my father because of his nature of work and he was sent to a faraway place. As a military personnel, he was usually taken out and even when he returned home he hardly stayed for long.

Due to the absence of my dad at home, I became too close to my beloved mother who took good care of me. My mother provided me with all that I needed as she influenced me with her love which I haven't seen anywhere else. But as I grew up my father's influence became more than that of my mother.

Yes, I think children can retrain themselves even when they have good background/home training. Personal growth and adaptation are mostly influenced by several factors, which include experiences, peer influence, education, and also environmental exposure.

Children who are raised with good manners at home might adopt new speech patterns of behavior to fit in with peers. For example, well-mannered children might become outspoken or assertive in school if they observe that this approach earns attention or respect to them.

How are you influencing the younger ones around you?

I am influencing the younger ones around me, by teaching them the good way of life such as respecting their elderly ones, greeting their elderly ones, obeying their parents, and teaching them good things. Ai do caution any younger child that I see speaking Ill of his or her parents or elderly ones around me.
