Old Age and the Joy it Brings

Hello friends and I welcome you to my article once again, I appreciate @okere-blessing for such interesting contest and would be ready to share my thoughts.
I remember the first day I looked in the mirror seeing a strand of beard on my jaw, I was so surprised, I know aging was a real deal. I definitely would say I do belong to this group. Seeing pictures of young handsome men resolve to the point the limbs go weak and they start using walking aids frighten me. I do not want to grow old and I try to keep myself in shape to look younger and then I already am in a bid to wade off any form of traves of aging. I am about 20 at the age 65.
There are some characteristics of old age which I would be sharing
Weak limbs are good example to use to notice old aged people they tend to walk slowly and calculate slowly. They have tremors in worse case scenario which is limbs shaking while they do anything they do.
Slow and blurry speech are also features we look out for. Most times they say things that are quite difficult to understand but then they importantly they say things and talk slowly
Soliloquizing and talking to themselves is another prevalent traits of old ones, they are mostly seen talking to themselves and saying things that only them understand to an extent.
Facial wrinkles are also visible traits, they tend to have wrinkled faces as we all know and its never their fault but a product of nature.
White hair on their head is a very prevalent traits as the old ones have white hairs as a result of old age on their side.

Good Dieting: I make it a point to duty to take my dieting so seriously as a young adult, cholesterol filled food is not so good, these could be seen in red meat from beef, but rather white meat from chicken or fish is great as it saves your diet, most importantly sea food is so much of importance too. It makes you live longer.

Exercises: The regular exercise or visiting the gym is very important as it causes proper circulation of blood, making your stronger and once it is a habit, you would tend to live longer as we all know. It is good for the body eventually.
Regular Checkups: This is of utmost importance as we all know, if you have any terminal disease it would be found out immediately. Therefore I try hard to keep it in my routine at least every 6 months. It would definitely be a routine to keep me to a good old age.
Extracurricular activities: This is important as you tend to do things that make you happy such as meditation, reading, sleeping or playing games and in my case mine is playing chess game. It is my own way to stay healthy and have good old age.
Personally, I would say at age 60 you can be tagged an old person because the traits of old age becomes quite visibly seen.

We've been sold old age as a disease, health problems, and weakness, but there are people who prove that this isn't an infallible rule. I know older people with more vitality and a good attitude than many younger people.
One of the great secrets to a healthy old age is our lifestyle, so I subscribe to the recommendations you offer regarding diet, exercise, social life, and recreational activities.
I believe it's a privilege to live many years; we just have to strive to live them in overall health.
