Explain Migration in your own words.
Migration can be explained as the movement of people from one location to another location usually a far distant location. For instance, leaving Nigeria to London or leaving Jos to Lagos. This movement is to settle temporarily or permanently as the case may be.
What are the causes of migration?
There are quite several causes of migration among which are:
1. Search for Job: Most people leave their homeland and families in search of white cola jobs especially from rural to urban areas. Some also move from urban to urban areas because jobs are scarce in some places.
2. Change of environment: Some people migrate to other locations simply because they are bored of where they are and need to move to an interesting location.
3. Weather and climate: Weather and climate are another cause of migration. Some people migrate to other places due to climate change. Climate we know can have negative effects on our lives.
4. Educational reasons: Some people migrate to other locations in furtherance of their education.
5. Crises: Crises is another cause for migration. Places, towns or nations where there is crises like war, flood, scarsity of food etc, people tent to migrate to other places where they can find relief or refuge.
How is the situation in your country and the migration rate?
The current situation of my country Nigeria is a very bad one. Citizens find it very difficult to eat three square meals because prices of goods and commodities increase daily due to a hike in the price of fuel. Also, the value of our currency (naira) to the dollar is very poor. No job opportunities and in areas where there are vacancies, opportunities are bought with money. Insecurity is another nightmare for us. Kidnapping has become a business for some people and citizens are afraid to travel through certain roads.
I feel the migration rate in Nigeria is high. Everyone is looking for an opportunity to leave the country and better his or her life.
Do you think migration is the solution?
For now yes! Migrating to another location or nation where leaders have the masses at heart and the progress of the nation is their number one priority is the best thing to do. How can a citizen enjoy his stay in a country where leaders are selfish and greedy, where leaders arrogantly address citizens amid hardship and crises? To some extent, you will feel as if the leaders are wishing you death. Another reason why migration is the solution is that our leaders kill young talents rather than supporting citizens to develop such talent and make it useful.
On the contrary, migration is truly not the solution to our challenges or current crises. Our leaders are supposed to be the solution to these challenges.

Are you willing to migrate if you see an opportunity which country would be your destination?
With the current situation of the nation, the answer is yes I am willing to migrate if I see an opportunity and the country of my destination would be Switzerland.
Switzerland is one of the countries that has the highest standard of living in the world and is known for its beauty. It has a stable economy and a low. Unemployment rate. Being in such a country will give one peace of mind and the energy to strive towards becoming instrumental to the nation. It will also allow me to further my education.
Conclusion

Brotherly every country have it own problem. You can't tell me that there's not poor in other richest country like China and Uk. For me, i think people should also consider that migrating doesn't always end in success as something it might be the worst experience. Talking about Nigeria, am not siding anybody neither, but believe me they are doing their best. Remember corruption didn't start today but long time ago. Before migrating, think twice, think about how you're going to survive because every country have it own standard.
