I always say this most times though alot of people don't notice it. I'm a top lover of sports, I love sportsmanship and I also love competitions too that helps in bringing out the best in us each time we try to be the best in a particular kind of competition. Today alot of Athletes earn huge amount of money from sports and this has also increased my passion for sports. @edgargonzalez thanks for organizing this contest.

Tell us what your favorite sport is and why?

I love sports alot and definitely I should have a favorite sport. My favorite sport is kickboxing and racing but since 2022 I have been a huge lover of basketball. I never had interest in this sport but my passion for it now is so high. For this contest and my sporting activities in the last few months I will say my favorite sport is Basketball. I played it sometimes last month and I ensured I have pictures for good memories.

Basketball is quite a popular sport and I love this sport because running is involved in it too. Like I said before, racing is one of my favorite sport so since basketball players run during their games I love the sport. Is a highly technical sport, especially when we are shooting the ball inside the next accurately from a far distance. The sport doesn't really have to do with age limit, you just need to have alot of knowledge and skills as well as discipline.

Do you play a sport? Or do you know someone who does? Which one and since when?

Yeah I do play basketball. There are standard basketball court in the city I reside in but is not in good condition, I used to go to another court that's far from my home but when the transport cost for it increased I paused for a year. Last year I started playing basketball again with my former high school classmates and we play it in the street.

I know someone who engages in sport, my neighbor is a football and he plays football alot, he has more than two football boots and different jerseys. I have also seen a picture frame of him with his teammates few years ago and also a frame of him playing football. Sports is very amazing and I do love football too, is very popular and quite complex.

Which sport(s) has the most fans in your country?

Is definitely football 😅 You need to see alot of football fans here in Nigeria, alot of women also love this sport. We have so many people that enjoy watching premier league matches alot. These people are fans of different clubs. We have the Manchester City fans, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United fans which am among of. I love Manchester United so so much. Football is a very popular sport in different countries, currently the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers is ongoing and I'm praying for my country to qualify as things doesn't really look good for us, our chances of qualifying is too low.

Do you think any sport is good for you? Tell us which one you play or which one you'd like to play.

I think some sports are good for me. I can run, I have some skills in kickboxing too and am also good in football as a defender, I don't have much interest in being a striker but if I see the need to be one I should get a coach to guide me but for the physical qualities for football strikers I do have them.

I play basketball, I have the ability to jump very high, I'm not a very tall guy but I always survive in this sport and I don't look like a loser or a coward. The street basketball games I played last year was very exciting and interesting as it helped in developing me even as I don't have the opportunity to play basketball in a standard court weekly. The only problem we have is that the street isn't wide and the ground isn't smooth., each time am playing I always avoid anything that will make me fall on the ground.
