Hello everyone, chef friends, back again with me. On this occasion, I want to present a recipe for an old-school chocolate cake. This is one of my favorite cakes when I was little. My mother often made chocolate cakes for me because my family and I really like this chocolate cake. Even though this is an old-school chocolate cake, the taste is no less delicious than other chocolate cakes. Super chocolate and sweet. I will also present and share this classic chocolate sponge cake recipe for all my friends. By using only four eggs and flour, you can produce an extraordinary dish.
130 g granulated sugar
4 eggs at room temperature
20 g cocoa powder
80 grams of chocolate melted with margarine
One teaspoon of baking powder
One spoon of SP (cake emulsifier)
One teaspoon of vanilla powder
- The first step is to break four eggs then add one teaspoon of granulated sugar, SP and vanilla powder then mix at high speed for about 8 minutes until the dough is pale and stiff.

- After that, add the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, sift all the ingredients so that there are no lumps and then add everything while sifting it into the dough.
- After that, add the melted chocolate with margarine, then mix again at low speed until smooth, then smooth it out with a spatula and stir until all the ingredients are mixed evenly and nothing settles at the bottom.
- Then grease the baking pan with margarine and sprinkle with flour. After that, pour the mixture into the pan and tap it so that no air can settle in the mixture which can cause the cake to fail to rise.

- Then bake the dough at 150°C top and bottom heat for 50 minutes and then test with a toothpick to see if the dough sticks. If it doesn't stick, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a while before removing it from the pan.
- Then here I decorate it with chocolate jam and chocolate sprinkles. You can decorate it according to your wishes.
