Hello everyone, back again with me on this occasion I want to present a porridge recipe that is very suitable to be served when breaking the fast. Muslims all over the world are currently undergoing fasting, which is an obligation for Muslims all over the world, both women and men, they do fasting, fasting itself is holding back thirst and hunger and breaking the fast when the Maghrib call to prayer has sounded.

It has become a tradition in my family that we always prepare all the ingredients at home and only give a few outside, like this recipe. This time I will share a recipe for green bean porridge with the addition of kolangkaling and sweet potato. This is my favorite porridge and my husband always tells me to make this green bean porridge.

Here I will share a recipe for green bean porridge. If you are a green bean lover, I think you must try this recipe.



Ingredients:

100 grams of yellow sweet potato
100 grams of green beans
50 grams of sticky rice
50 grams of palm fruit
800 ml of coconut milk
15 tablespoons of granulated sugar
2 pandan leaves
1 teaspoon of salt



How to make:

  • The first step is to boil the mung beans that have been soaked for 2 hours. This function is to make the mung beans soft quickly. After that, add sliced ​​ginger and pandan leaves as an aromatic. Adding ginger to the mung bean porridge makes the mung bean porridge more aromatic and of course tastes even more delicious.

  • After the mung beans are slightly cooked, then add the sticky rice and also the kolangkaling. Cook until the sticky rice is slightly cooked, then add 400 ml of liquid coconut milk and then add the orange sweet potato, then stir until evenly mixed. Don't forget to add salt.

  • After everything is slightly cooked, then add 400 ml of thick coconut milk and add granulated sugar, then stir until the sugar dissolves and then turn off the stove, then after it has cooled, it can be transferred to a container. Here I make porridge with gravy because I like porridge with gravy, I don't like porridge that is too thick.
