Assalamu Alaikum everyone. "Steemit Challenge Season 25 || Team-Salad Chef" appeared with my own entry in this challenge. I feel blessed to learn something different in the magical world of salads every time. In the world of gastronomy, this challenge provides a better understanding of the different ingredients and textures of salads. Apart from teaching skills, it is also my experience about the taste of different salads. This week we have been taught about Russian Salad. I move on to the main task of my challenge and discuss various details including its preparation process.

Make a "Russian Salad"(detailing the utensils, ingredients, and preparation steps).
I have gathered all the ingredients to make Russian salad first. I am now presenting the measurements of the ingredients below. I followed the recipe presented in this course along with it. However I have added two ingredients to this salad recipe cucumber and tomato which will enhance the taste and texture of the salad and make it nutritious.

How to Make :
Step : 01
- First I put the carrots, potatoes and eggs in a clean pot and put them on the stove to boil. I'm careful not to let my vegetables get too soft. Because the vegetables need to be firm in the recipe. While putting them in the oven, I will add some salt to them.
Step : 02
- After the eggs, potatoes, and carrots are cooked, I submerge them in cold water and then chop them up. Along with this I also cut cucumber and tomato into small pieces. Then I put all the ingredients in a bowl and keep them aside.
Step : 03
- Then it is the turn to prepare the dressing. I took three teaspoons of mayonnaise in a bowl. Then I mixed one teaspoon of mustard in it.

Step : 04
- Then I will take another clean bowl. Since I have finished preparing both the vegetables and the dressing to make my Russian salad.
Step : 05
- In the bowl, I will add the cucumber, carrots, potatoes, tomatoes and eggs.

- Then I will add the dressing to the vegetables in the bowl. I will then continue to mix until it comes together.

- After mixing the salad well, I will add the coriander leaves on top. And that's how I finished making my Russian salad.

Final Presentation :

In your country, what variation do you typically add to Russian salad? Tell us about the flavor of your salad? Did it meet your expectations?
In my country some beneficial ingredients are usually added to make Russian salad. For example beans have been used in the course recipe. But beans are not available in the market in our country during the summer. So I used cucumber and tomato as an alternative. Cucumber and tomato are the two main ingredients in the Bangladeshi salad. We dont make salads without cucumbers and tomatoes. So I used cucumber and tomato in my salad.
The taste of the Russian salad I made today is incomparable. Although I made this type of salad for the first time. But I like its taste and texture very much. Moreover the vegetable ingredients that I have added are very beneficial for our health. So I can say without hesitation that my expectations in making the Russian salad have been fulfilled.

Highlight the benefits of potatoes and carrots and indicate the price of these vegetables on Steem.
Potatoes and carrots are vitamin foods. Both ingredients are very nutritious. Even so, they are very beneficial for our body and if eaten as a salad, they do a better job of providing us with nutrients. Potatoes and carrots are very effective in our digestive system as well as boost immunity. I have presented the beneficial points of potatoes and carrots below:
Benefits of Carrots :
Improves Eyesight : We know that carrots contain a substance called carotene which helps in curing our eyesight problems. There is also more vitamin C which helps in getting rid of eye diseases or blindness.
Helps in Digestion : Carrots contain fiber which helps in digesting our food a lot. Therefore, the demand for carrots in salads is very high.
Prevents Cancer : Studies have shown that carrots contain some substances which help in preventing cancer in humans.
Improves Bone Health : Carrots contain calcium that help in improving the bone health of our body. We should include carrots in our daily diet to keep our bones healthy.
Benefits of Potatoes :
Storehouse of Carbohydrates : Potatoes are a carbohydrate-like ingredient. Moreover, they also contain nutritious proteins and minerals which are very beneficial for our body.
Helps in Controlling Blood Pressure : Due to the potassium content in potatoes, potatoes are very helpful in controlling blood pressure in our body. These beneficial elements alone do not allow us to increase the blood pressure in our body.
Boosts Immunity : Potato being a vegetable food helps keep us healthy by boosting the immune system of our body. Therefore, I think potatoes should be included as a balanced food in our daily diet.
Improves Brain Performance : There is no substitute for potatoes to keep our brain performance and memory power good. Because it contains a large amount of zinc and manganese which helps to prevent forgetfulness by increasing the performance of our brain.

Here are my special tips for making Russian Salad:
Fresh vegetables should always be used in salads. The reason for this is that using colorful vegetables in salads not only makes the salad look attractive but also provides various nutritious vitamins. That is why I used cucumber and tomato in it.
It is good to add protein to the salad because it increases the nutritional value of the food. I used hard-boiled eggs in the Russian salad which has a lot of protein. I would also suggest that chicken, chickpeas or fish and different types of nuts can be used in the salad.
I have used mustard here while making salad dressing. However olive oil or lemon juice can also be used instead. This will give a different taste to the salad.
I think that salads should always be served cold. Then its taste remains intact and it is very delicious to eat.
