I Celebrate 🍪Oreo Day🍪☕ EN/UA

I had long noticed this contest in the Steemit Iron Chef community organized by @dasudi. A few days passed, and I forgot about it, then I remembered when I saw a new participant and thought the contest was over... but no, there was still a day left, and I was writing in the last minutes, literally speaking.

On this very day, I had no cookies at home, so I ran to the stores in search of them...

I didn’t even know that there was an Oreo Day, nor did I know that this was a world-famous cookie. I don't remember when I bought it for the first time. Most likely, I bought it to surprise my son with the unusual black color of the cookie. Since then, he has loved it, and I often buy it for him. And, of course, I like it too – when I buy a big box for my son, I often get some as well)) It's great that every two cookies are packed separately because it’s nice when they are crispy. Over time, they absorb moisture and lose their crispiness.

I eat them whole, meaning I don’t separate the cream from the cookie. But my son does – probably because they are big. At first, I thought he didn’t like the cream... but no, he eats everything afterward. It’s just his sequence.

At first, I wasn’t interested in the history of the cookie; I thought it was just a local product in nice packaging. In fact, it is only sold in one supermarket. But when the war started three years ago and we left everything behind and moved to another city, I saw yellow Oreo in one of the stores there. I bought it to try, and three years have passed, but I still remember that I didn’t like it very much – the black one is definitely better.

I eat Oreo with aromatic coffee; they complement each other.

If I had milk, it would be just perfect.
