I welcome you all to my chocolate cake practical, I'm so delighted to participate in this class after I missed the week 1. I'm doing this cake by following strictly what our Teacher @m-fdo taught us.
Let me share my experiences and how I came out victorious after trying the first one .

Direction for preparation.
Step 1 , my clean bowl is ready then I put my butter and sugar and mix them properly
The next step 2 is adding the eggs one after the one again I whisk until it incorporated. Step 3 I added my vanilla used my whisk and mixed until everything is well taken care of, step 4 I added my chocolate (coco powder) ,baking powder and the flour. This is the time I mixed again until it was well mixed, lastly was my powdered milk I mixed again and it was already giving me chocolate cake taste.
I greased my pan with little butter , set my oven and allowed it to heat then I put in my mixed chocolate cake and allow to bake for 40 minutes , finally my chocolate cake was ready for consumption.

I have watched people make different cake but I have never taken it serious to make it by myself, this is my first time making chocolate cake. During this practical I made mistake in the first one and I discovered my mistake immediately, I noticed that my butter and Eggs was not enough then the flour was much it gave me a powering outcome , when I now followed the quantities of ingredients showed in class I got it right and I was very happy. If you taste this cake you can't believe it was my first experience it came out yummy and delicious. I promise to continue this cake making even after now.
4 . Explain the importance of the cocoa powder/chocolate powder used in the cake. Also, why do you use less cocoa powder than flour? ✔️(3 Mark)✔️
Speaking from my experience today the Cocoa powder made the cake attractive.
Cocoa have good nutritional value, therefore adding it in the cake makes it healthy.
Cocoa powder makes the cake to taste like chocolate.
It helps the cake to be smoother.
Why I used less cocoa powder because it can make the cake to be dry.
If more Cocoa powder is used it will result to adjustment of ingredients at the end of the moisture
Cocoa powder is dry and can absorb more than flour.

After preparing my chocolate cake I invited my sister ann28 to join me ,she even told me to make another one for her . It was indeed an amazing experience the cake is delicious and I like it. All thanks to my teacher @m-fdo for this learning challenge.
