At the outset, I must thank @dasudi for initiating this tasty contest in the right community.

In India, two varieties of milk are widely available: Cow's milk and Buffalo milk. especially in rural areas, these two varieties are available. However, in metropolitan cities and other large towns, only plant-based milk is available. The milk plant procures raw milk from villages in bulk quantities and processes it, rather than using pasteurization techniques are adopted and supplies it to the consumers in cans and sachets. As I live in a metropolitan city, I get only plant-based milk.

Generally, the raw milk, both cow's and buffalo's milk, is processed and supplied. The plant produces whole, semi-skimmed and skimmed milk. The quality of the milk depends upon the percentage of Fat it contains. Whole milk will have a high degree of fat content, while skimmed milk has only low fat content. Incidentally, I prefer to consume semi-skimmed milk, which is supplied daily through sachets. I have to see the budget and quality. The semi-skimmed milk itself is tastier enough for me while considering the price and fat content. Normally, they do contain 4 percent fat, which is quite good and healthy. The cost of 1 Litre of semi-skimmed milk is 44 Rupees. I do not know the equivalent Steem price.

The pasteurized milk procured from the plant should first be boiled and then it can be consumed. I prefer and enjoy hot boiled milk for its taste. In the mornings, I prefer to take it with coffee. Anyhow, it should be hot. We have a Government brand 'AAVIN' which is very familiar in my State. They maintain standard quality and quantity.

A favorite, rather 'my favorite' drink prepared from milk is 'Baasandhi'- a mouth-watering semi-liquid dish. Here is a simple way to prepare the dish very easily in your kitchen. Take 1 litre of whole milk, which contains a high degree of Fat, in a wide-mouth bowl. Allow to boil by heating. Go on boiling and boiling till most of the water is evaporated and try to condense in a semi-liquid form. Care should be taken in the process of boiling. Frequent stirring is a must and avoiding overflowing of milk while boiling. Do not allow it to char by overheating. Allow to cool. Add a small quantity of Cardamom powder and a small quantity of sugar if you prefer. Otherwise, the dish is very tasty and healthy. Additionally, some people add Saffron for colour and flavour. A few to add ghee-roasted nuts. It all depends upon one's taste and flavour. But raw Baasandhi with warm temperature is great.

Please try to prepare it in your kitchen, taste it and write your opinion. I welcome free comments on this.
I invite friends @wirngo, @norat23, and @rumaisha, requesting them to participate in the contest.
( You should not allow the milk to spill over the container, as shown in the image. Please take precautionary boiling steps!)
