Daily Menu Delicacies Week No. 74 Date (09-06-2025)

Breakfast-Idli with Radish sambar |

Yesterday I took out the idli batter from the refrigerator, which I had ground and stored in it. The batter is made with soaked rice and urad dal. After coming down to room temperature, I cooked idlis with the batter. At the same time, I chopped radishes and potatoes and made a sambar with them, adding lentils, tomatoes, and onions. Also made cucumber slices to eat as a vegetable salad.

At around 11 o'clock I took a mango and cut it into slices and shared it with my son, who was doing holiday homework at home. The mango has been very tasty since the season. here and coming to an end soon.



Lunch-Dosa and Beetroot Curry |

For lunch, I made dosa with the same idli batter and made beetroot curry by slicing the beetroot and sautéing it with onion, green chili, and oil

In the evening, we ate the dessert called "Nungu halva," which is made with ice apples. The sweet is chill and sweet since it was stored in the refrigerator and good to eat in hot weather.


Dinner-Idly with Rava kesari |

We went out for dinner and headed to the local restaurant. There we ordered idlis and "rava kesari," which is made with suji, sugar, and ghee. The dinner was so light and healthy.


After coming home, we sat on the couch to watch a Tamil movie while my husband fried some wafers to eat while watching the movie. We felt it was a good combination.
